Club DJ

Other than radio, I loved being a club DJ the most.  It’s hard to match the feeling I had knowing that there was a long line of customers waiting to get in and be caught up in the frenzy.  The music is non-stop and it’s your job to create the right atmosphere to motivate guests to dance, enjoy themselves and spend money at the bar.  The true success of a club DJ can be determined by the cash register receipts at the end of the night.  You can have people dancing all night long, but without them spending any money, the night was a disaster.  Everyone is important from the greeter/security at the front door to the personable and entertaining bartenders, however it’s the DJ that is the spark and the center of attention.  You make it all happen.  Beat mix those songs and build the energy so that people can’t control their excitement.  Once you have peaked, break it down and build it back up again.  Being a club DJ is a mind game and a mathematical equation consisting of beats-per-minute and breaks of either 32 or 64 beats.  It’s all going to be in the complete guide.

We are currently creating a complete “how-to” guide to becoming a DJ.  This will be a step-by-step program laying out procedures such as beat mixing, equipment, remixed music, club expectations and marketing your skills.  You will be able to follow the plan laid out by industry experts that will help to educate you in this lucrative market.  Simply provide your email address in the box to the right, and we’ll keep you “in-the-loop”.  Plus, receive industry related news, articles and special promotions to help you to be in-the-know.
